About

Cathy Madavan is an accomplished speaker, author and broadcaster, who has been teaching about priorities, resilience, relationships and purpose for over 20 years. Her ability to combine hard-earned wisdom with practicality, honesty, memorable stories and sparkling humour has helped countless individuals, audiences and organisations, giving them time-tested tools and implementable advice for their personal and professional lives.

Cathy is committed to coaching and mentoring others, helping them to get unstuck, to make progress and to develop relationships and mindsets that create capacity and release potential. She also regularly coaches and trains others in public speaking and presentation skills.

A particular passion for Cathy is seeing other women leaders, writers and speakers develop and grow in confidence and competence. To this end, she is on the board of the Kyria Network, which aims to champion, empower and release women of influence.

One of the great privileges of Cathy’s life is working with wonderful non-profit organisations, churches and charities – particularly her long-standing relationship with the charity Care for the Family, who she regularly podcasts, writes and tours with, as a speaker.

Most importantly, Cathy lives in Bristol with her husband Mark, a church leader and speaker who is also registered blind. They have been married for over 25 years and are proud parents to two amazing daughters.
